Even though it’s only April, many children’s ministries have been prepping for Vacation Bible School since January. At my church, we’re doing Lifeway’s Galactic Starveyors curriculum this year and we’ve already had several major planning meetings.
VBS is one of my favorite weeks of the whole year, and in this video, I’ll give you some amazing VBS statistics to encourage you and share the VBS hashtag we should all adopt now!

We are doing Galactic Starveyors as well! I am the “craft director.” I create the entire craft program aspect of VBS. I do a mix of crafts from their curriculum, plus alot of my own 😉 It’s SOOOO fun! I started planning in January! Just finished finalizing the crafts and now I get to start the buying. 😉 Then comes the organizing of supplies and writing out the curriculum (since I use alot of my own stuff). It’s alot of work but I LOVE doing VBS. I love that hashtag and the story behind it!
That “as well” wasn’t supposed to be in there. I got a little excited cuz I was talking to someone else about VBS too LOL
